2024 Highlights
PSG Lo Hei Session
On 21 February 2024, our Parent Support Group (PSG) gathered to celebrate the Lunar New Year. Joined by the School Leaders and teachers, the PSG members engaged in meaningful bonding activities that not only fostered camaraderie but also strengthened their connection to the school community.
The event was an opportunity for parents to learn more about the school and its ongoing efforts in supporting students' growth and well-being. The celebration culminated in a joyful Lohei session, symbolizing prosperity, unity, and positivity for the year ahead—a fitting start to what promises to be a successful and rewarding journey for all at Meridian Secondary School.
We are grateful for the PSG's continued partnership and their unwavering dedication to making Meridian Secondary School a supportive and inclusive environment for every student. Thank you, PSG, for your incredible support!
Racial Harmony Day
For this year’s Racial Harmony Day celebrations, our Parent Support Group (PSG) members joined us in school to celebrate with our students. The PSG brought along traditional snacks from different cultures, giving students a chance to sample and enjoy treats that are cherished across Singapore’s diverse communities.
In addition to the delicious snacks, the PSG members introduced students to traditional games that have long been enjoyed by all races in Singapore. Students enthusiastically engaged in these games, gaining hands-on experience of our shared cultural heritage. It was a meaningful and enjoyable day, and we are grateful to our PSG members for their dedication in enriching the students' experience and supporting our commitment to fostering harmony and inclusivity at Meridian Secondary School.
Staff Appreciation Day
This year, our dedicated Parent Support Group (PSG) members expressed their heartfelt appreciation for the staff at Meridian Secondary School by surprising them with a delightful ice cream treat. This thoughtful gesture brought smiles to the faces of teachers and staff, reminding them of the valuable support and partnership with our parent community.
We are truly grateful for the PSG’s unwavering support and involvement in our school. Through their ongoing encouragement and acts of kindness, PSG members play a vital role in fostering a nurturing environment for our students' growth. Their appreciation and trust in our staff’s dedication to student well-being and academic success are greatly valued.
Thank you, PSG, for making Meridian Secondary School a stronger, more connected community!
