In the midst of a changing world, with families facing high stress in school and work, parents play an important role in nurturing values and habits in the home that will lead to self-motivation n resilience.
Do you wish that:
– Your child can bounce back from setbacks and disappointments?
– Your child can set goals and be positively working towards them?
– Your child has emotional awareness to deal with anger, sadness and fears?
Come hear from Wendy who will share not just theories, but her own experience raising her children through family setbacks and career changes. Two of her children were diagnosed with Dyslexia, and her eldest son with ADHD. She became a single mum in 2000, just as she became the school psychologist of Raffles Institution. Together, she and her children overcame pain and uncertainty, and created love and gratitude. Today, her three older children are in University and she is a global leadership coach. She has written the series “All Kids R Gifted”, “Break to Dawn”, “What are you thankful for?” and “The WAND way to resilience”.
