This year, to develop our athletes further, the Football Association of Singapore launched a School Football Academy (SFA) in Meridian Secondary School, one out of 10 pilot schools in the programme.

As one of the initiatives under Unleash the Roar! programme, the SFA programme is an important avenue for youth development. The programme seeks to support student athletes by helping them balance academics and sports, thus helping them to become players with strong foundation in both skills and studies.
